Follow these steps to freshen up quickly and, although your skin will not be as spotlessly clean as you would like, you will feel less disheveled and look less tired, leaving you feeling and looking better for longer.
1. Thoroughly cleanse and tone your face, then reapply your make-up.
2. Keep your make-up simple. Use a compact best foundation or concealer to even out the skin and then add a little color with a light bronzer or blusher.
3. For limp hair, apply a little hair spray to the roots of the hair and massage your scalp vigorously with your fingertips to thicken out the hair and add volume. Then brush it into your normal style.
4. For static hair, spray some hair spray onto a comb and pull it slowly through the hair.
5. For greasy hair, use a dry shampoo. Take care to cover your shoulders, or brush away any spray that falls out of the hair, because dry shampoo can look suspiciously like dandruff.
6. Drink as much mineral water as you can while travelling. You will feel more clear-headed when you go out for dinner the first night and the next morning when you will want to be as sprightly as possible.
7. When you arrive, put some toner and eye gel in the mini bar for refreshing skin and combating puffy eyes.
