Fashion and style have always been of prime focus in societies far and wide. So then, if dieting is not about eating less, what is it about then?
Dieting or weight loss in fact is about eating strategically and not about starvation. While dieting, you tend to intake foods which are more nutritious than fattening. That means good-bye French fries and hello fruits and adios fuzzy drinks, bonjour pure refreshing water. The first step in healthy dieting is to prioritize; you need to put your physical health at top priority. Once you have done that, you engage a psychological filter that subconsciously keeps you away from foods that might cause weight issues; find time to exercise – there is always time. A simple 30~45 minutes’ walk or bicycle ride not only ensures you burn those extra calories, but it also gives you time to reflect on yourself. By engaging in such a normal activity, you would be amazed at the outcomes it has on your body and mind.
Once again dieting is not about eating less, it is all about eating smart. Lets for a moment, discuss why is it important to eat smartly. During the day just like a car our bodies need fuel; our fuel are the vitamins, the sugars, the carbohydrates and water – the machine we call “human body” requires a fine balance between all these to function properly. Times today have indeed become hectic to say the least; busy schedules, meetings and deadlines; all of these overwhelm us so much so we forget to eat healthy. After all that is what “Fast Food” is for right? Wrong, by eating kinds of food that naturally have an unbalance between the nutritional values is bound to spin your body into abnormality, such as weight issues. Make sure you have a particular time to eat and have your meals in proportions; remember its not how much you take in, its actually what you take in. For instance, you are on a tight schedule and have to meet a deadline that is 60 minutes for now. You feel hungry and thirsty, but the project you are working on is very important, so what do you do? You start cutting lines, you try to make up as much time as possible, so you get a sandwich with mayonnaise and cheese oozing out of it and you gulp it down with a cold can of your favorite fuzzy drink. Tastes yummy, doesn’t it? Well, it would not taste as delicious once you hear this; the cheese in that sandwich seems soft and because it is at a far higher temperature than your body. Once you eat the sandwich, the cheese in it begins to get hard and almost unsolvable. This chasse makes its way to your attires and begins to form thin layers around it; causing the walls of the attires to narrow- scarry! Now lets consider the same situation when you are faced with a 60 minute deadline for a very important project, instead of having the sandwich you opt for some fruits and water – what does that do now? Nature is all about balance, the fruits have a fine balance between the nutrition and so not only do fruits provide a perfect snack, they also help you satisfy your nutritional needs. Besides that, snacking on fruits will never make you feel lazy or “stuffed” and lazy; in fact snacking on fruits makes you more vigilant and alert. The water that you drank instead of the fuzzy drink will make sure your body is well hydrated and thus adding to your alertness. Now fed and alert, you can expect to make a killer impression on your clients.
Dieting is only healthy when based on natural products; there are bunches of companies calming to make you lose weight in a matter of days. Well, that does not happen without side effects. Weight loss is all about improving on your health not damaging it further.
